Pennant Quilt

Wow!  Does anyone else feel like this week has just been thrown into high gear?  I already posted about not making resolutions, but I do always have a list going.  So, Monday morning, Mr. BP and I dropped kids and headed to Buon Giorno {our fav local coffee place} for a meeting.

It was great to start our new year in a new place off together and on the same page.  We each lined out what we needed/wanted for our self, our businesses and our family.  There were no great surprises, but it is amazing what happens after 20 minutes at a coffee shop getting in sync.  You are in sync ;)

Then, back to work.  I posted this on FB when we got her on Saturday {as the shop was closing and the deal was expiring}:

I will post a full review after I have used her for a while {I’ve nicknamed her MaryAnn – pretty, yet practical}.  She has made quilting so much easier than ever before.

I received an email from a quilt purchaser asking me if I could replicate this project in a more grown up way:

She didn’t want the full graphic of her tee, just what filled the pennant. {I did this project in Florida and I didn’t keep individual pics, only the project collages}.  I am too excited about this and it is planned for March.  I have 10 that I am finishing up – and out of those, 2 are fantastic raw edged quilts done from baby clothes.

I am off to finish a custom ottoman and then head to downtown Dallas to organize.  Favorite part, it is 5 minutes from In n Out burger -
