I love, love, love this project. For one, anyone at all can do it. Two, it was an inexpensive fix that takes up very little wall space. Three, it would have been cheaper had I not changed my mind and spray painted them twice.
This is in the boy’s bunkroom that is still in process. When we built the bunks, we knew that we would be losing the ability for any piece of furniture on the entry wall.
These bookshelves fit the space perfectly. I originally found them on Pinterest (and have seen many versions floating around). BTW, if you need a Pinterest addiction invite, let me know and I would be happy to send you one.
Total cost (including two cans of paint that I ended up painting over): $40
The absolute best part – Boo and Princess Fiona can see the titles of their books and have been reading a lot more since these went up Saturday afternoon.
Love,
Bev

The clerk said that everyone was coming in to buy these because of the blogs….I guess mine will have to wait.

Thanks Catherine – I am so glad you visited and love it. It has worked wonderfully this week as the kids can see what they want and not pull everything off the shelf
