Oh, how I love Anthropologie. It is such a well curated collection of epherema, nostalgia and modern all at once. While I tend to only purchase awesome knobs there, it never fails to inspire me.
Several months ago, my awesome web designer Shauna gave me two curtain panels that she was no longer using as curtains, but loved the fabric and asked for pillows. It reminded me immediately of Anthropologie.
Shauna also sent me several “Pinspirations”. And in true fashion, I kept moving her drapes from work table to work table. {Hi Shauna!} Then last week while we were in Austin, I got the sweetest note that basically said “hey, if you ever come home, can I have some pillows before Mother’s Day?”.
It was actually perfect. I was exhausted on Friday and had poured so much energy into some special quilts for our trip that I needed the change of pace to refresh me.
I made 6 and no two were the same. It was such a fun way for me to spend my Friday.
It was even more fun to deliver them on Saturday morning and let my crew see her new Chihuahua puppies. Hope they don’t chew the pillows
